Olympic Games 1928 Football Collection 43 Fotos - Photo collection with 43 B/W photos of the German national player Wiggerl Hofmann (FC Bayern Munich) from the DFB's participation in the 1928 Olympic Games and from the German national team's preparations for this tournament. 18 B/W press photos 24x18 cm to 12x9 cm and 25 private photos of the players from Holland of the national players' leisure activities away from the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928, each 8.5x6 cm --Great collection that documents the Olympic football tournament Amsterdam 1928 from the perspective of the players and with impressive press photos. There are also photos of the DFB's Olympic course from 1927 and photos of preparation games. The pictures are mounted on cardboard -- from the original photo album of Bayern Munich football legend Ludwig "Wiggerl" Hofmann (1900-1935). He played for FC Bayern from 1916 to 1933. In 1934/35 he was briefly coach of Bayern. He played 18 times for the DFB national team from 1926-31. The original photo album was auctioned at AGON auctions in December 2017. Condition: A-B
