Olympic Games Paris 1924 Official USA honourmedal - Official medal of Honour for US athletes at the Summer Olympics in Paris 1924. Inscribed "On behalf of the city of New York to the victorious American Athletes on their return the Olympic Games at Paris France" (1924). Silver (hallmarked "Sterling"; 22 g), gilt, 5.2x3 cm. This medal was presented by the Mayor of New York John F. Hylan on the return of the 299 American athletes in New York harbour. Very rare! Arrived. Condition: A-
