Bronze medal from the 1956 Summer Olympic Games / Equestrian Games in Stockholm for third place. With edge stamp "Lagerströms - Mjolby" Bronze, 5 cm. --Only 12 bronze medals were awarded! --Melbourne, Australia, had been awarded the 1956 Olympic Games at the 1949 IOC Congress. This raised the question of how the equestrian competitions would be held. Australian Quarantine Law stipulated strict quarantine conditions, which would have meant a six-month quarantine for the horses… It wasn't until 1953 that the decision was made not to change the quarantine regulations and the equestrian competitions were canceled. Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
