Original torch from the Olympic relay from Olympia to Innsbruck 1976. Stainless steel and aluminium, manufactured by United Metalworks, Ranshofen-Berndorf AG. Length 74 cm, plate diameter 21 cm. This torch is very rare and one of less than 100 copies. --This torch was used in the torch relay for the 1976 Winter Olympics in Vorarlberg. The torch comes from the estate of a high-ranking administrative official from Vorarlberg who worked for sports in this Austrian province from 1967 to 1984. He received this torch as a gift from the manufacturer after the torch relay. The torch has two special features: 1) A plaque bearing the inscription "Ein Geschenk der Vereinigte Metallwerke Ranshofen-Berndorf A.G." was affixed to the handle of the torch by the manufacturer. 2) The manufacturer sealed the torch tip with a screw-on capsule to prevent dirt from accumulating inside the torch. The torch's outlet nozzle was attached to this metal capsule. ---The torch has light speckles of corrosion. Condition: A-

In special cases and upon agreement with the auctioneer, bidding by telephone during the auction is also possible.
The price you specify in your order is the hammer price, excluding buyer’s premium and VAT.
The buyer’s premium (auction fee) is 16.5%.
The total price is calculated as follows:
Hammer price + 16.5% buyer’s premium + shipping costs (if applicable) = Subtotal + 7% VAT = Final price
Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
