Original match-issued jersey of the Uruguayan top team Club Nacional de Football (Montevideo) with the number 5 from the period 1952 - 1956. Status: ACA --An exceptional jersey from this top South American team (3x Intercontinental Cup, 3x Copa Libertadores, 49x national champions) as a button-fronted playing shirt. Such jerseys were worn exclusively by players of wealthy top clubs who considered themselves "gentlemen" footballers between the 1920s and 1950s. Examples of such shirt-style jerseys also exist in Germany, for example, Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt. Shirt-style jersey made of lightweight linen with a button-front and mother-of-pearl buttons. Size approx. L (for shirts). Underarm inserts made of lightweight stretch cotton, club colors printed and sewn on the collar and sleeves. The club emblem and back number are screen-printed. A German journalist who lived in South America from 1950 to 1973 received this jersey as a gift from the club for a report on Club Nacional in the early 1950s. Minor storage wear. Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
