Porto FC 1959 Winner plaque Football Portugal - “Campeao Nacional 58-59” official championship scissor in the colours of Porto FC with fringes made of silk held together by a heavy bronze plaque with an applied color enamelled club logo. Total length 220cm x 13.5cm. Diameter of the plaque 6.5 cm. Personal copy from the coaching legend BELA GUTMANN (1899-1981) who won the championship title in 1959 before moving to Benfica Lisbon. With Benfica he won the European Cup in 1961 and 1962. Status: AAA. Unique piece was made for players and coaches only. Excellent (VF). Museum piece!!! Provenance: In March 2001, AGON-Sportsworld acquired Bela Gutmann's estate from an antique dealer in Vienna. The approximately 300 pieces were auctioned on June 8, 2001 in a special auction "Bela Guttmann Collection". The FC Porto winning scherpe offered was sold in this auction.
