Silver medal for a 2nd place finish in basketball at the 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics for the USSR. Silver, weight: 70 grams, 5 cm. In the original plastic box from the manufacturer: "K.G.Luke Ltd" 7.5x7.5 x2 cm --Original winner's medal from the 1956 Olympics. This medal comes from a private collection. The collector received this medal from a Soviet basketball player who won it in Melbourne in 1956. --Medal immaculate. Plastic box with a break on the front (4x1 cm; box condition: C). For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
