It is awarded in gold and silver. The Golden Order is only issued very rarely. This medal was awarded for the first time in 1984. These awards only go to personalities “who have had a significant impact on football events in the past”. The first recipients of this Medal of Honor were Sir Stanley Rous, Bobby Charlton, Helmut Schön, Franz Beckenbauer and Michele Platini. This special "Order of Merrit" was created for FIFA's 100th anniversary. John Warren was the only person to receive this award this year. But previous recipients of the order were honored again by this special "Order of Merrit" on the occasion of the FIFA gala in Paris in 2004, e.g. Pele (whose medal was sold in Los Angeles in the "Pele auction" in 2016), Beckenbauer, Platini ect.. Very nice piece in original leather case. Uncirculated. (EF). Condition: A
Auction Details:
All price indications are estimated values.
These prices do not yet include VAT, i.e. 7% VAT will be added when the invoice is issued.
For those who cannot attend the public auction in person, there is the possibility to place bids via the online portal or submit written bidding orders.
In the case of written orders, the auctioneer will aim to secure the item at the best possible price.
Example:
The estimated price of a lot is €100. You place a bid of €120.
a) No one else bids – you win the item for €100.
b) Someone bids €100 – you win the item for €110.
c) Someone bids €130 – you are outbid.
In special cases and upon agreement with the auctioneer, bidding by telephone during the auction is also possible.
The price you specify in your order is the hammer price, excluding buyer’s premium and VAT.
The buyer’s premium (auction fee) is 16.5%.
The total price is calculated as follows:
Hammer price + 16.5% buyer’s premium + shipping costs (if applicable) = Subtotal + 7% VAT = Final price
Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
