- Large official participant plaque for the German Football Association (DFB) commemorating their participation in the final tournament of UEFA EURO 1972 in Belgium. Each participating national association received one of these plaques. The plaque is made of oak with a large UEFA logo screwed onto it. It features a gilded brass plaque, manufactured by "Huguenin" (21 cm), and a mounted engraved brass plaque (8 x 3.5 cm) inscribed "UEFA to the DFB Final Tournament of the 1972 European Football Championship in Belgium". The overall dimensions are 35 x 28.5 cm. A unique piece. A museum piece! --Germany won the 1972 European Football Championship. A total of four of these commemorative plaques were issued to the participating associations. These solid plaques are designed for wall mounting. For those who cannot attend the public auction in person, there is the possibility to place bids via the online portal or submit written bidding orders.
In the case of written orders, the auctioneer will aim to secure the item at the best possible price.
Example:
The estimated price of a lot is €100. You place a bid of €120.
a) No one else bids – you win the item for €100.
b) Someone bids €100 – you win the item for €110.
c) Someone bids €130 – you are outbid.
In special cases and upon agreement with the auctioneer, bidding by telephone during the auction is also possible.
The price you specify in your order is the hammer price, excluding buyer’s premium and VAT.
The buyer’s premium (auction fee) is 16.5%.
The total price is calculated as follows:
Hammer price + 16.5% buyer’s premium + shipping costs (if applicable) = Subtotal + 7% VAT = Final price
Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
