Number 1365
(1912–1940) 2 postcards, each with an original autograph by Albert Richter (GER). 1932 World Sprint Champion and German Champion in 1933, 1934, and 1935. 14x9.5 cm autograph in ink and pencil. Includes: a black-and-white photo of Richter. "Richter died in prison in Lörrach after being arrested on December 31, 1939, at the Swiss border for currency smuggling. The last officially stated—though hardly credible—cause of death was ‘suicide by hanging.’ The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung called him “an athlete who perished during a criminal era due to his uncompromising nature and his moral courage.”[1] Along with Werner Seelenbinder, he can be considered one of two German athletes who were killed for political reasons during the Nazi era.” (Wiki) ARCHIVE. Condition: B-C

For those who cannot attend the public auction in person, there is the possibility to place bids via the online portal or submit written bidding orders.
In the case of written orders, the auctioneer will aim to secure the item at the best possible price.
Example:
