Approx. 600 original postcards on the subject of cycling, dating from the period 1920–1942! --Approximately 98% of the items are postcards related to elite-level cycling, featuring portraits of riders, scenes from competitions, and commemorative cards from major events. Some include original signatures from the riders! The condition of the postcards varies: some are in mint, unposted condition; others are in mint condition but have been posted (complete with stamps and postmarks); some feature contemporary handwritten notes on the image side; others have small adhesive labels indicating the riders' names or the year; some show traces of glue or paper residue on the reverse; and a very small number have been trimmed. Roughly 80% of the cards are German, 10% are French, and 10% originate from other countries. About 10% of the collection consists of duplicates. A fantastic collection—a true treasure trove!!! These prices do not yet include VAT, i.e. 7% VAT will be added when the invoice is issued.
For those who cannot attend the public auction in person, there is the possibility to place bids via the online portal or submit written bidding orders.
In the case of written orders, the auctioneer will aim to secure the item at the best possible price.

a) No one else bids – you win the item for €100.
b) Someone bids €100 – you win the item for €110.
c) Someone bids €130 – you are outbid.
In special cases and upon agreement with the auctioneer, bidding by telephone during the auction is also possible.
The price you specify in your order is the hammer price, excluding buyer’s premium and VAT.
The buyer’s premium (auction fee) is 16.5%.
The total price is calculated as follows:
Hammer price + 16.5% buyer’s premium + shipping costs (if applicable) = Subtotal + 7% VAT = Final price
Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
