The Oplympic Winter Games were awarded to St. Moritz due to the fact that the Games had been taken off Sapporo since Japan had entered the war. Yet in May 1939 the Games were taken off St. Moritz, too, because of problem with the Alpine demonstration competitions. The Games went to Garmisch-Partenkirchen untill they were finally cancelled becuase of WWII. The leaflet was printed in March 1939, there's no reference to the Olympic Games in its contents. The price you specify in your order is the hammer price, excluding buyer’s premium and VAT.
The buyer’s premium (auction fee) is 16.5%.
The total price is calculated as follows:
Hammer price + 16.5% buyer’s premium + shipping costs (if applicable) = Subtotal + 7% VAT = Final price
Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
