- ORIGINAL silk time-trial cycling jersey belonging to Jacques Anquetil (1934–1987), dating from 1969. Five-time Tour de France winner. Silk with stretch cuffs. Embroidered "Bic" logo on the front, back, and sleeves; "Anquetil" embroidered on the front and back. Manufacturer: "Vittore Gianni, Milano" (name embroidered on the care label!). --Small hole at the collar; the jersey was on display for years at the Swiss Sports Museum in Basel (which has since closed)! Silk time-trial jerseys are extremely rare. There are numerous retro reproductions of this "Bic" jersey, but they are made of a different material and lack embroidery. Condition: B

For those who cannot attend the public auction in person, there is the possibility to place bids via the online portal or submit written bidding orders.
In the case of written orders, the auctioneer will aim to secure the item at the best possible price.

The price you specify in your order is the hammer price, excluding buyer’s premium and VAT.
The buyer’s premium (auction fee) is 16.5%.
The total price is calculated as follows:
Hammer price + 16.5% buyer’s premium + shipping costs (if applicable) = Subtotal + 7% VAT = Final price
Items can be paid for and taken immediately after the auction.
For bids placed via the auction portal or written orders, items can be shipped upon request. In this case, shipping and packaging costs are borne by the buyer.
