The award certificate for Werner Liebrich bears the original signature of Federal President Theodor Heuss (1884-1963). It is a four-page cardboard document in its original cardboard folder, embossed with the Federal Eagle in gold. --The Silver Laurel Leaf is the highest sporting award of the Federal Republic of Germany and is awarded by the Federal President.
